I-94 NORTH SOUTH CORRIDOR PROJECT - SENIOR RISK CONTROL

The Senior Risk Control position will have responsibility for assisting the Site Safety Director in administering and modifying the site specific safety plan for the project Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP).  The position will also be responsible for holding all site contractors to the provisions of the program.  This position will report directly to the Risk Services Practice Leader, and will indirectly report to the I-94North South Corridor Project OCIP Administration Team. The following are specific duties of the position:

  • Site Specific Safety Program
  • Orientation Program
  • Project Meetings
  • Contractor Evaluation
  • Pre-Planning
  • Training
  • Tool Box Meetings
  • Jobsite Inspections
  • Accident Investigation

Qualifications:

A four year degree in Safety and Health or equivalent is preferred with at least three (3) years of safety experience.  Experience in road construction/bridge building and OCIP programs is also greatly preferred.  Strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.

Technical Assistant - Marketing
The Technical Assistant - Marketing provides support to the Marketing Department by preparing submissions and proposals for new and renewal business in a fast-paced work environment. This position takes the initiative on implementing the proactive renewal process by requesting renewal exposures from clients and seeing it through to binding coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate is a well organized, ambitious individual that has worked extensively with quotes, rating worksheets and navigating carrier websites.
  • A positive attitude and confidence are necessary to succeed in this position.
  • Applicants must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be flexible working as part of a team.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Wisconsin P&C license and1+ year prior commercial insurance experience is required. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Applied Systems are preferred.
